A very early morning on a lake in Kashmir.
Many years ago, I visited that area in northern India, staying on one of the many houseboats. Peddlers frequented the large lake, offering their wares. There was nothing you could not buy from these floating shops.
It might have all changed now, after all, it was more than forty years ago! Yet this idyllic scene stayed in my mind.
