This used to be one of my favourite places growing up in northern Germany.
Whenever I wanted to be alone, to deal with teenager-issues I was struggling with at the time, or simply wished to dream uninterrupted, this was the place to go. In June the grass was high, full of wildflowers and I would watch the horses grazing peacefully.
This painting was done years later on one of my visits to my home town. Although the horses are gone, it still has not changed much to this day.
